AI Quickstart Audit · Fixed scope · Fixed fee
Two weeks. One number on the line.
You've been told to "do something with AI" by the board, the sponsor, or the market. Most teams answer with a $200K strategy engagement that lands in a Sharepoint folder. We answer with two weeks, a fixed fee, and a written plan your team will actually ship from.

Why it exists
Built for the "I need an answer before the next board meeting" call.
Big-Four AI strategy decks are written for boards. They don't ship anything. Vendor pilots are written for vendors. They don't survive procurement. This is written for the operator who has to walk into a room and say "here is what we are doing, here is what we are not, here is what it costs."
We have 40 'AI ideas' from the offsite. Half are good. We can't tell which half.
We're being pitched Snowflake Cortex, Databricks, OpenAI Enterprise, AWS Bedrock and an agency-built RAG. We need someone neutral to call it.
Our diligence report flagged us as AI-unready. We have eight weeks before the next sponsor call.
Engineering says they're already shipping AI. Product says nothing's landed. We can't both be right.
We need a one-pager our CEO can take to the board on Tuesday. Not a 60-slide deck.
What's included
Six deliverables. Two weeks. Every one is shippable.
01
AI Maturity Snapshot
Where you are today across strategy, engineering, data, governance and adoption. Mapped against a 5-stage benchmark we've used with 30+ AU operators. Sent as a one-pager, not a 60-slide deck.
02
Top-3 Bets, Ranked
Your 40-item AI backlog cut down to the three bets with the strongest value-to-effort ratio. Each one has a written hypothesis, a delivery owner, a 90-day plan, and the metric to measure it on.
03
Reference Architecture
A one-page architecture diagram for what an AI-native version of your stack looks like. Models (Claude, GPT, Llama), data (warehouse vs lakehouse vs hybrid), evals, observability, and cost guardrails.
04
Vendor & Build Recommendation
A neutral call on the four-to-six tools you're currently evaluating (Snowflake, Databricks, Hex, Cortex, Bedrock, custom build). What to buy, what to defer, and what to retire.
05
Governance & Risk Register
AU Privacy Act, Voluntary AI Safety Standard, APRA CPS 234, AUSTRAC and ASIC RG 271 considerations relevant to your business. The risks your auditor and procurement team will ask about, with the answers pre-written.
06
Board-Ready One-Pager
The single page your CEO walks into the board with. Where you are. What you're doing. What it costs. What it returns. What you're explicitly choosing not to do.
Timeline
Two weeks from the kickoff call.
DAY 1
Kickoff & access
90-min kickoff. We get repo, doc and stakeholder access. You name two internal sponsors.
DAY 2-5
Discovery
8-12 stakeholder interviews across exec, product, engineering, data, ops. Stack and architecture review. Vendor short-list scoring.
DAY 6-9
Synthesis
We rank your bets, draft the architecture, write the governance register, and price each path. Mid-engagement check-in with sponsors.
DAY 10
Readout
2-hour readout with your exec team. All six deliverables handed over. Optional board-prep session before your next meeting.
Pricing & guarantee
AU$10K. Fixed. No retainer trap.
Fixed fee of AU$10,000 + GST. Paid 50% on kickoff, 50% on the readout. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no "phase 2 proposal".
No-deck guarantee: if the readout is mostly slides and not mostly decisions and code paths, you don't pay the second invoice. We've never had to honour this.
Credit on follow-on work: if you engage us for an AI Readiness, Architecture & Uplift sprint (AU$50K) or a fractional CTO engagement within 60 days, the audit fee is credited in full against the new engagement.
FAQ
Who runs it?
Kevin Kasaei (founder), with one PADISO senior engineer or architect depending on your stack. Not a junior consultant. Not an offshore team.
What if our team is non-technical?
Most of our audits are with mixed audiences. The readout is built for both an exec sponsor and an engineering lead — the same deliverables, two reading paths.
Can we get this in less than two weeks?
Sometimes. A 1-week Sprint variant exists for AU$15K when there's a board date driving it. Ask on the call.
Do we keep the deliverables?
Yes. Everything is yours — including the diagrams, scorecards and architecture in editable formats. We don't license back our own work.
Is this only for Australian companies?
No, but we're best-in-region for AU. Roughly 80% of audits we run are for ANZ-based teams. NZ, SG and US-based engagements happen too — pricing and timezone shift accordingly.
Two weeks. AU$10K. One real answer.
Book a 30-minute scoping call. If we can't tell you something useful in that window, we'll say so and won't take the engagement.
